Hello,
I remember well seeing and flying a leading edge inflatable in Florida many years back, early 90s.
What I and others found strange that the 2 lines crossed before reaching kite and yet still turned right when bar pulled right, this was of course one of the L brothers first "wipicat"
We all thought it was worthless...... WOW WERE WE WRONG!!!
Thanx to the Legaignoux Brothers for all their work and inovation!!!!
THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE!
BUT,
I know for a fact that the 3 wheel buggy, that is more or less standard now ,came from a trimaran fitted with wheels!
Although this was not his idea, the wheels that is.
Again very early 90s. PETER LYNN
Laurent FIRST OFF SO COOL YOU WILL BE FATHER!!!!
Do you remember year you first saw or heard of 3 wheel buggy?
PETER LYNN had been working on water traction for many years before anyone even knew outside of N Z, mid to late 80s.
I am not saying AT ALL that the L brothers knew of Peters work just giving credit where it is due.
His main thing was a trimaran, I was lucky enough to see his invention graveyard once, AMAZING what he thought of and built!
Huge thanx to MR. PETER LYNN HIMSELF FOR ALL HIS WORK AND INOVATION!!
If anyone is ever near a frozen lake and puts some ice blades on a buggy with little wind you can go VERY fast, even 3 times wind speed, and if I remember ok I think we did 4.
Off to shape, seems like I do alot of this lately?
