Thanks for setting up this forum Chris. I'm the only one around here with a foil board and it's good to have a place like this for discussion.
I have been at it for over a year now and I am happy cruising along on my Carafino board on steady wind days.

At first, it took me many hours to get comfortable on the thing, but it was well worth it. I am getting a few small jumps now, and I hope to try riding it strapless, although I don't see anyone talking about that on this forum.

Hi Chris - sorry for the delay with my reply. Welcome to the forum. The french side is much more active but the important stuff I try to keep posted here too. It's not easy though - time etc. Marco has the nickname of being and extraterrestrial on a foilboard it the first time I have seen him on the you tube video but I am hoping to hook up with him during the summer. I'll keep you posted.
It's well worth the effort persisting with the foil - I'm sure we will see lots of developments over thte next months regarding hydrofoils due to the fact that people are realising it is not only a great light wind device but once you start to master it you can ride it all the time up to circa 30knts - but it does start to get a bit hairy in gusty wind speeds.
Nice picture too - and if I may take the liberty to say so it's really great to have someone on the site who's a little more mature than me. No insult intended Chris Smile
Have a fantastic weekend.
